Rand Paul was elected to the U.S Senate in 2010. As running for president he wants to return our country to the principles of liberty and limited government. Paul’s view on spending and debt is that he will work to balance our budget and reduce spendings in all areas. Paul believes that every American has a guaranteed right to privacy. Paul says “I will immediately end the NSA’s illegal bulk data collection.” Paul plans to have his own tax plan that would blow up the tax code and start over. He plans to establish a new tax rate that has applied equally to all personal income. Paul would have voted against Obamacare and repeal the abomination of Obamacare. He will “ensure that real free-market principles are applied to American health care system.” “ As President, I would put pressure on the Department of Homeland Security to finally follow through on the broken promise of a secure border and an effective visa tracking system.” Paul believes we must return to expand personal liberties and limit the role of government. He will continue to fight for the Constitution. Paul believes “we must abolish Common Core and give back control to the states, localities, and parents.” Children should not be constricted to a one-size-fits-all format. He will remain committed to fixing the Social Security program. Paul believes we must provide our veterans with the necessary support tools as they adjust back to civilian life. Paul says “It is my strong belief that we must protect those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation.” Paul believes to save hundreds of thousands of lives by allowing states to pass their own anti-abortion laws. Paul does not support the any proposed gun control law. He will remain careful in the fight against infringements on our Second Amendment rights. These are most of the issues Rand Paul will be appointing.
